Recently in class I have been learning about reflection and how to make it useful in your everyday lives and careers. Reflecting on your work consists of; what they are learning, How they are learning it, How they are using what they are learning etc. When you think about what you have learned and make notes on it, it will help you to understand and clarify your thoughts and emotions. By reflecting on things you have done you can also see where there is area for improvement. For example if you were reflecting on work you had done in a seminar earlier on in the week, you might realise that you had not understood what you thought you had learnt correctly, you might also realise that there are different ways you remember things, and can then see your stronger and weaker aspects. This can help us focus on what we have learnt and develop our knowledge further.
When reflecting on what you have learnt, there are certain ways to make it easier and more effective. You can make notes by hand talking about your reflections on your learning, and you can also use computer technology by just recording and saving your thoughts like an online journal. I guess this is what my blog is going to be like. An online journal talking about my reflections from classes and looking at how I can improve on them, so here goes. I have only been studying IT for two weeks, so I am still finding it a bit confusing and hard to get to grips with. I have never blogged before, so understanding how to use it and to follow people is a work in progress. I am going to be blogging at least once a week and reflecting on my thought, but at this point in time I do not have the slightest clue to what the lessons will be about. At the moment all I know is I have to blog about what I have learnt this week; which is how to blog. So basically you could say I am blogging about learning to blog!
p.s today I am wearing white track pants with a vest top and cardigan.
xoxo
